Museum shop
The museum shop is in the Tropenmuseum and can only be accessed with a valid museum ticket. Payment is accepted with PIN/Visa/American Express/Mastercard/Maestro and cash. Although the shop is open while the museum is open, please note that it may close for lunch between 12 and 1pm.
A wide range of items can be found at the museum shop, including music (cds), literature, travel and cookery books, exhibition catalogues, clothes and shawls, jewellery, household accessories and other objects from around the world. This is an ideal place to buy gifts, to find inspirational travel stories and superb items from Africa, South America, Middle East and Asia.
